Umeda Sky Building is absolutely worth looking at, either from afar or from within, if you’re an architecture nerd or anyone visiting Osaka, for that matter. This building is insane-looking in that futuristic cyberpunk kind of way. Taking the elevator up between the two buildings feels like being beamed up into a space shuttle. It’s quite windy on top and can get crowded at peak hours, but the best time to visit is during the magic hour, when you can see the city transition from day to night.
One of the best views of Osaka, great for photographers. If you’re really into architecture, the design concept and construction are explained in detail. One of the coolest buildings in Japan and a landmark of the Umeda district. Don't second-guess going. Go!
