Founded in 1963, Tor Road Steak Aoyama is a family-run teppanyaki steakhouse passed down through generations. The restaurant seats only two or three small groups per session, creating an intimate experience that transcends ordinary dining. Reservations must be made in advance, especially since the restaurant has gained renewed attention after making the rounds on social media. The chef speaks excellent English, offering deeper insight into each cut and preparation for guests unfamiliar with the Japanese language. As always, the marbled magnificence of Kobe beef leaves a lasting impression, especially for those encountering it for the first time.
