A European-style roadside oasis featuring seasonal fruit picking, flower gardens, and gourmet food stalls near Mt. Rokko.
MK Guide Recommends
Nestled in the foothills of Mt. Rokko, Kobe Fruit and Flower Park Ozo Rest Area is a roadside station unlike any other—designed after a 17th-century European village. Originally built as a leisure park, the area was transformed into a lively rest stop and farm-themed complex called “Farm Circus.” Here, visitors can enjoy seasonal fruit picking, large flower gardens, fresh-baked local bread, and produce markets directly from farmers. Attractions include a Ferris wheel, hot springs, playgrounds, and hands-on workshops for kids, making it perfect for family trips. On weekends, food trucks and craft stalls add a festive atmosphere, while the red-roofed buildings and open lawns offer scenic spots for strolling. Whether as a quick stop or a full-day outing, it provides a delightful break into Hyogo’s countryside.
